Riley Marie is here!

Riley Marie DeMille was born January 25, 2012 at 3:43 am. She weighed 6 lbs 12 oz and 2o in long. She came earlier than her February 5th due date. I woke up that morning feeling different and kind of sick. I told Spencer to get everything packed and ready to go because I had a feeling she may be coming soon. We went to our doc appointment that morning and learned I was dilated to a 4 but my contractions were still irregular. Doc said he could end up seeing us that night and if not definitely before the weekend. We left and went to eat lunch. My contractions started getting closer together as the day progressed. We got to the hospital at 6:00 that evening and had her at 3:43 am. Even tho I had an epidural and my labor went pretty smoothly, I have to say that was the hardest thing I have ever gone through. But as soon as I saw our little girl for the first time, I immediately started to forget and thought "Wow that was totally worth it and really wasn't so bad." I decided to have my mom in the delivery room with Spencer and I. Best decision ever. Having two coaches at my side helping me along made things so much easier. We are also grateful that our immediate family that till live here were able to be at the hospital with us too. We love our little girl more than we could ever imagine.
