I came home to these last night! He is the best! I love you Spencer!

Lately...

So this weekend was pretty busy. I got to go to my best friend's Heather and Shani's combined baby shower. My in laws got me a quilting frame for Christmas so made baby blankets for the girls. Heather is having a girl and Shani is having a boy. I also made my new baby cousin Millie a baby blanket. So cute. Saturday night for Valentine's Day Spencer and I went out to dinner with our friends Storm and Adrienne. We went up to the Mt. Charleston Lodge to eat. Delicious. There was live music and everything. It was a whopping 14 degrees up there and so much snow. Then Sunday we got to spend time with the Albright family before the girls go back home to Utah. Still don't have a camera :(. One of these days we will be able to take pictures again.

Self Check Out?

Self check out... I always assumed this meant you checked yourself out at a store. You scan your items, the machine talks you through it, you pay, and then you're gone. Well at Costco it does not mean this. So they added these lines called self checkout. Well I scan my membership card and start scanning my items. This Costco worker behind tells me she is gonna scan my big items for me so they don't have to leave the cart. So I am like ok sure although i just want to "self" scan my items and leave. So she hovers over me through my process and begins loading my basket for me. Wait a minute I am supposed to do that! So I thank her and leave confused and frustrated at the fact that in a self check out line at Costco the definition does not mean do it yourself. It means do it with a costco member helper and watch your things get loaded into your cart like their normal check out lines. Thanks Costco for making things so easy.

Brianhead

Spencer and I went to Brianhead Monday! We got free lift tickets last fall at Snow Jam. We met up with Kendra and Cache and their two friends Staci and Lonney. We has had so much fun but i broke my camera! Last run i got really tired and ate it hard! yep so prolly wont see pics of us for awhile til we can buy a new one!
